Student Ministry Director

Duties and Responsibilities (15 hrs/week)

The student ministry director is focused on ministering to our middle and high school students by leading them toward a deepening of their relation to the Triune God and one another, and their growth into the life of the whole church. This position entails working under the direction and oversight of the Session of Pine Ridge to accomplish the following duties and responsibilities.

Directing Student Ministry

  • Pursue discipleship with students: meeting/communicating regularly in small groups and individually

  • Prepare for and direct weekly student gatherings

  • Plan and hold fellowship and service events for students

  • Coordinating and attending student winter retreats and summer camps

    • MS winter retreat (weekend in Feb.)

    • HS winter retreat (weekend in Mar.)

    • MS summer camp (5 days in July)

    • HS summer camp (6 days in June)

  • Attending monthly Session meetings as able

  • Meeting with pastors for mentorship, accountability, and ministry encouragement
